Deer in the Near West End!

This afternoon, I was making a quick walk down the block along with my Cookout Peanut Butter Milkshake, and I heard a rustling coming from a side yard across the street. Out comes a young buck, which ends up standing right on the yard across from me as I'm walking. It was looking behind it, and soon I heard some more rustling, and a second buck, about the same age, joined him in the yard. These deer were SO CLOSE and were not afraid. They continued to pause in some yards and then gallivant to the next fun area to explore. It was a fun way to enjoy my milkshake, visiting with neighbors about the deer, as well as watching cars drive by and then stop to observe, shocked at these live animals in the city.
